Lam Suet Ling
A pet hotel designed for maintaining the operation of Hong Kong Saving Cat And Dog Association.
Keeping pets has become a trend in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Hongkongers like traveling. Thus, finding temporary accommodation for their pets when they are traveling is their biggest concern. To cater for the needs of pet owners, a pet hotel is designed to provide room and day-care service for pets, offer a place for owners to socialise and promote a reliable image to the public.
C PLACE
Cheung Sik Hung
Recognizing and understanding the cultural and creative centres of Chinese characters from different perspectives.
In the digital age, people have reduced needs for writing Chinese characters and often forget how to write them. Therefore, C Place provides visitors with a different perspective of Chinese character exhibition experience so that visitors can re-recognize and understand Chinese characters, get rid of feeling bored with it and refresh their memory of how they met them in elementary schools. Finally, I hope to offer visitors a relaxing and pleasant exhibition experience.
CANCER CARING CENTER
Man Ka Mei
To redesign a cancer caring center for the patients and their families with a multi-function area for a pleasant afternoon stay having art therapy, pet therapy, and cooking experience, etc. Exterior walls are opened up with semi-open interior space to broaden the view and allow natural light to enter inside. The centre is decorated with natural wood, greenery and sky blue materials to create a pleasant and spatial journey for different users.

Kar Kit Man
The design combines technology and entertainment to produce a five-dimensional consciousness space. The public learns from entertainment (STEAM) and experiences the connection between the virtual and real worlds. The space is dominated by oblique elements
EMBRACE OF GOD
Wang Kwong Yu
Given the global outbreak of COVID-19, many people are in a state of uneasiness and anxiety, with many worried about losing their jobs in another flare-up of the disease. More than ever, faith may provide solace and strength for the public. The functional design takes into account the needs of the Christian Church, providing facilities such as the main auditorium, an office, a dormitory, a prayer room, an activity room, and spaces for poetry classes and singing.
The design theme is inspired by "God's Hand", breaking the limitations of the design structure, using elements such as hollows, the contrast of light, and rhythm to create a place that is spiritually comforting, unburdening, and truly restful.
ETERNAL KNOT
Ying Hang Yu
Chinese knotting is a traditional culture which conveys the meaning that a knot can connect two people together. To preserve this cultural practice of knotting and promote it to more people, we will use the relationship between knots and passion, and ensure that the selected location can maintain its function to build a new wedding venue. This project may be the first global large-scale project on Chinese knot with a view to bringing a new impact and image to the public, and thus creating a new attraction for Hong Kong.
H. TEAHOUSE
Leung Cheuk Man
Hong Kong is fast-paced, trendy and eclectic city.. However, many local characteristics, such as traditional cakes, tea, and handicrafts, have been replaced. Therefore, this teahouse offers new and old tea choices, sells traditional cakes, and provides a consignment and display place for artisans. The teahouse design uses natural elements and a variety of modern and traditional design features to create multiple leisure and common spaces, so that guests can enjoy the experiences brought about by the various different environments.

Bringing a different way of life to people to change people's negative view of co-living.
At present, co-living is not yet popular in Hong Kong. Many people have a negative view on co-living. They feel ill at ease when they share places with others and will have no privacy. Therefore, N...Point, with the aim of providing comfort, aims to change people’s views on co-living, which actually allows them to meet different people, expand their social circles, and become one of the choices of comfortable residences.

Exploration for second-hand clothes
With the development of technology and fast fashion, people’s consumption habits have been changed. As a result, second-hand clothes are in great supply. Upcycling culture and “Less is More” concept have also become trendy. It is hoped that people no longer regard second-hand clothes as shabby items after designing a second-hand clothing store. The introduction of ‘environmental fashion’ into the store hopefully can raise people’s awareness of environmental protection. Moreover, transforming used clothes imbued with a new value is expected.

We aim to create a community retail store symbolizing To Kwa Wan. Through the theme of rice which is divided into spring, summer, autumn and winter, i.e., four seasons, from the older generation to the younger generation, from tradition to technology, showing the four generations’shopping patterns, so that a store can have different sales patterns and atmosphere, redefining what retail stores should truly be.

We aim to provide a space for people (mainly workers) to take a rest, enabling them to deal with things more efficiently in daily life. We also hope it can raise their awareness to sleep and stress relief.
SURGE OF LIGHT

The shelter is designed for women and children who have suffered from domestic violence in Hong Kong. Inspired by the spiritual symbols known as “mandalas”, the space aims to provide a healing environment, while paying attention to privacy and security. Believing that mutual help and support are the best ways to help victims to get out of hard times and regain confidence, I intentionally created a lot of intimate and “get-away” spaces in this shelter. In addition, three small indoor gardens within the building are carefully planned to allow inhabitants to enjoy more sunlight and outdoor landscape without being too exposed.

Education in Hong Kong has had several problems, such as the lack of happy learning. Compared with the traditional learning , open learning can encourage children to explore and learn by themselves more. The aim of this project is to bring out a new education concept and to solve the existing education problems .
TEA CULTURE

It is common for Hong Kong people to go to teahouses to drink tea. Hong Kong is a fast-paced and competitive city. Young people are full of pressure. Tea is considered old-fashioned and serious and so they think that only old people go to teahouses. In order to enhance attractiveness, diversity, and get rid of the old-school label, a tearoom is designed and it is expected to let youngsters slow down, unwind and increase their interest in drinking tea.
