Given that retro culture is popular in Hong Kong, but the culture of Mandarin gowns is largely forgotten and misunderstood, "Blooming 60s" aims to allow people from Hong Kong and elsewhere to understand anew the significance of gowns in Hong Kong culture. Using the three concepts of "acceptance", "recognition" and "experience", it includes a workshop, as well as areas for retail, exhibition, and for the rental of gowns and other equipment. In terms of design, the space is coherent, and it has been conceived with the hope that users will not only recognize the precious Hong Kong culture of the 1960s from a different perspective, but also promote and preserve it.
